In culinary school, I really don't get much of a chance to show off my love for wolves. However, I knew what I was doing as soon as I found out about getting to do a sugar showpiece. He took me about two days to do, and while it was painful (working with 140 degree F sugar, ouch).. I enjoyed doing it.
The pine in the first tree is sugar I pulled. The moon was cut, very carefully, from bubble sugar. The trees were blown sugar, and the wolf was poured. The rock itself was made from rock sugar, and then colored with gel colors and alcohol.
